MERCY TORKWASE IYORTYER

QS. Mercy Iyortyer is a seasoned Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor and Cost Consultant with over 40 years of work experience in management of development and infrastructure projects; with expertise skills in cost management, project delivery, financial management, project and program management, risk management, dispute and facility management. She is a Fellow and Past President of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors. Other professional qualifications include a Registered Quantity Surveyor (RQS) with the Quantity Surveyors’Registration Board of Nigeria (QSRBN), a Member of the Association of Project Management, United Kingdom (MAPM), a Certified member of the International Project Management Association (IPMA) and a Certified Construction Arbitrator. QS. Iyortyer began her career with the Ministry of Works and Housing, Makurdi, Benue State as a NYSC Corper in 1979. She then joined the Federal Capital Development Authority, Abuja in 1985 as an Assistant Chief Quantity Surveyor. She resigned from the public service and co-founded Zihabit Limited in 1991. She is also the Managing Partner of MTI Partnership, a Quantity Surveying Consultancy Firm.



DAVID IGBAZUA KPUE

Engr. David Igbazua Kpue is a notable civil engineer with over 35 years of professional and managerial experience in the Built industry. He is a registered engineer with the Council for Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), a fellow of Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE), a member of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and a member of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru (MNI). Engr. Kpue began his career working with the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) from 1982 to 1996 after which he transferred his services to the Federal Housing Authority (FHA) as a Chief Civil Engineer. He rose to the headship of the FHA with his appointment as Ag. Managing Director in 2014. He joined Zihabit Limited as Director Engineering in 2017 and has been in charge of engineering designs and supervision.



QS. Lucky Amesi

QS. Lucky Amesi possesses strong professional working experience of 30 years in the Quantity Surveying and Public Sector. Some of the major projects he worked on include Industrial Development Centres located in State Capitals under Federal Ministry of Industry, Secondary School projects in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja and Engineering Infrastructure and Buildings with Satellite Towns Development Agency. QS. Amesi rose to the level of Deputy Director in the Procurement Department of the Federal Capital Development Authority(FCDA) and he is highly proficient in the areas of contract documentation, project monitoring and evaluation. QS. Amesi joined Zihabit in 1996 where he managed all site operations. He is also a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (FNIQS) and a Registered Quantity Surveyors (RQS).



MOHAMMED N. BUKAR

Manager, Architecture


Arc. Mohammed Nur Bukar completed his Masters in Architecture at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 2011 and then obtained his NYSC while serving at Landev Partners; after which he joined the company full-time as an Architect in 2012. He has participated in the design of the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies HQ, Civic Centre Makurdi and Hyatt Regency Hotel Wuse, Abuja. At Zihabit Limited, he has been involved in the construction of NSF service apartments Gwarimpa, Primary Healthcare Center Piri and various other projects. Arc. Bukar is a member of Architect Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) and is in charge of Architectural designs and BIM implementation.



EDWARD ORSHIKPENGA IYORKYAA

Hon. (BIdr.) Edward Orshi Iyorkyaa joined the Civil Service of Benue State in August 1978 as a Pupil Building Engineer and rose through the ranks with some acceleration to the position of Acting Structural Engineer in 1981. He was the Head of Building section in the then Ministry of Housing and Environment before he voluntarily withdrew his services in March, 1983. In the private sector he supervised the construction of many projects, including the Mobile Police Housing Project off Makurdi – Naka Road; the NITEL Building Complex opposite Benue State University First Gate, Makurdi .He is a corporate member of the Nigerian Institute of Building.



JACOB IORUMBE KWAGHKPER

Manager, Electrical & Mechanical Engineering


Engr. Jacob Iornumbe Kwaghkper served as an Engineer with Impresit Bakolori Ltd 1980-81 for his NYSC Primary Assignment after which he worked as Workshop Manager responsible for Heavy Duty vehicles and Road Plants maintenance at Ministry of Works, Abinsi in 1981-84. In 1984-1991 as a Senior Resident Engineer and then Assistant Manager for Taraku Mills (TML); Production Manager at Oil and Allied Products Company Ltd 1991-93; Project Consultant (NYSOL Engr Services) from 1993-95; National Commission for Colleges of Education as Deputy Director from 1995-2007 and then finally retired. He recently joined Zihabit Limited as Chief Consultant and head of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering division.



Iwasen Mimi Iyortyer

Mimi Iyortyer commenced her working experience as a Forensic Graduate support at Deloitte and Touche, U.K in 2002 and progressed onto various other roles at Citigroup, U.K, Abuja Investment & Property Development Coy, Nigeria and Maybrook Saint James, U.K as an Intern from 2003 to 2004. She then joined Morgan Stanley, U.K in 2005 and Threadneedle Investment, U.K in 2006, New York Stock Exchange EURONEXT, U.K in 2009 where she worked as an Analyst. In 2013, Ms. Iyortyer moved back to Nigeria and has since worked as an Executive Director of Zihabit Limited where she has piloted new strategies to grow the company and put in place a robust operational framework. She is also the Managing Director of Sinoni (a hospitality outfit); spearheading negotiations with several International hotel brands and capital raising strategies for the development of Sinoni Hotel.
